Wildrose Black Knight of Hopewell, “Knight,” is a Wildrose heritage dog with classic Gentleman’s Gundog characteristics, the perfect wingshooting companion. Knight was raised and trained at the Wildrose Oxford facility destined to continue the exceptional heritage of his parents, Astraglen Tyrone, “Barney,” an extremely popular imported sire and his mother, “Scout,” the daughter of Deke, the Ducks Unlimited mascot and the granddaughter of FTW Blackharn Bob, another superb Wildrose sire.

Whether in the field or marsh, Knight is a wonderful gundog of duality. His calm nature quickly transforms afield into a seriously driven, alert, and eager retriever. Always looking for a job, Knight prefers to be active yet he is steady at heel and in the duck blind. In the home, Knight is a gentleman and pleasantly compatible.
